Abstract submission

Abstract submission deadline: 1st July 2018
  • Oral and poster abstracts are now invited on the conference topics and should be submitted using the online abstract submission system. Abstracts sent by post or fax will not be accepted.
  • The abstract language is English.

  • One registered author can present maximally two papers.

Guidelines for submitting your full paper

Full paper submission deadline: 15th August 2018

  • Authors are kindly requested to submit their full papers on Congress e-mail:, as a word document in an attachment.
  • Reviewed full papers submitted to the Congress will be published in Congress Proceedings in electronic form (on CD).

Supporting journal

  • Oral and poster presenters at the FoodTech 2018 are invited to submit full manuscripts for consideration for inclusion in the special issue of the International Journal of Food Science and Technology. Please note that acceptance of an abstract in the congress programme does not imply acceptance of an accompanying paper for publication in the IJFST special issue. All manuscripts will be subjected to the normal process of peer review.

Presentation of submitted abstracts and papers

  • If you have decided to present your paper on a POSTER, you should prepare your poster in size 70x100cm, portrait layout.

Congress language

  • The official congress language is English. English will be used for all printed materials, presentations and discussions.
